Benchmark-Gated Progression
Fight Engine is not a week-by-week calendar program. Every phase must be earned through benchmarks. Athletes never progress simply because another week has passed. Each phase has objective performance standards. If an athlete fails to meet those standards, they remain in the current Active Phase until they pass. Time never unlocks training progression. Performance unlocks progression. All standard education is available from Day 1.
The Engine Is Layered — Not Replaced
Entering a new phase does not mean abandoning previous qualities. Foundation Engine builds the aerobic base — and that base stays in the program. Threshold Engine raises sustainable pace — while Foundation recovery capacity remains. Repeat Engine, Power Engine, Fight Engine, and Championship Engine each add a new emphasis while maintaining what you have already built. The engine layers. It is not replaced.
Why Random HIIT Fails
Random conditioning often feels hard — but hard is not the same as structured. Typical HIIT lacks progression, measurable benchmarks, structured overload, testing, retesting, and phase-specific development. Athletes redline without building an aerobic foundation, repeat the same intervals without standards, and wonder why round three still breaks them. Fight Engine Standard — Performance Standard
Athletes achieve the standard by successfully completing all six benchmark-gated phases and passing the Fight Engine Standard — proof that your engine recovers, repeats, and sustains power under fight-specific demands. You do not achieve the standard because Phase 6 arrived on the calendar. You achieve the standard when you pass the Championship Engine checkpoint.
Dark Kinetics Elite Engine
Dark Kinetics Elite Engine is the highest repeat-output conditioning benchmark inside the system. It is optional — not required to achieve the Gate standard. Elite represents exceptional repeat-output capacity: reproduce explosive efforts across extended sessions with minimal performance collapse. Pursue Elite only after Fight Engine Standard standard achievement. This is the ceiling — not the requirement.
